Recognising OB-GYNs Driving Digital Transformation in Maternal And Child Care

The FOGSI–KCDM Digital Health Awards recognise OB-GYN practitioners, clinics, and nursing homes/hospitals across India who are using digital health tools to improve maternal and neonatal care.

Across the country, many FOGSI members are already adopting digital tools,often adapting them creatively to real-world clinical settings. These Awards celebrate such efforts and aim to amplify peer learning across the OB-GYN community.

About the Awards

The FOGSI–KCDM Digital Health Awards have been instituted to:

  • Recognise OB-GYNs using digital tools in routine practice
  • Showcase practical, scalable digital health solutions
  • Encourage peer-led learning and confidence in digital adoption

This initiative is led by the FOGSI-KCDM, a flagship initiative of FOGSI.

Who Can Apply

  • All FOGSI members are eligible
  • Applications may be submitted by:
    • Individual OB-GYN practitioners
    • Clinics
    • Nursing homes/hospitals

Ineligible submissions:
Proposals that do not involve the use of digital tools and digitised data will not be considered.

How to Apply

The Q&A session will address queries related to eligibility, application submission, and the evaluation process.

Award Categories

Quality & Safety Improvement

Digital initiatives improving clinical outcomes, guideline adherence, timely intervention, and maternal or fetal safety.

Workflow Efficiency & Practice Productivity

Digital solutions that streamline clinical or administrative workflows and reduce documentation burden or manual errors.

Patient Engagement & Access

Digital initiatives that improve patient experience, communication, adherence to care plans, and access to maternal care services.

Digital Leadership & Capacity Building

Leadership-driven initiatives advancing digital adoption and building digital capability within clinics or the wider OB-GYN community.

Evaluation Criteria

Submissions will be assessed based on:

  • Digital health innovation
  • Clinical impact
  • Scalability
  • Sustainability

Evaluation Process

Applications will be reviewed by a 3-4 member jury, comprising:

  • Digital health experts
  • Senior clinical leaders
  • FOGSI mentors

Prize Money

  • Gold: ₹2,00,000
  • Silver: ₹1,00,000
  • Bronze: ₹50,000 (two winners per track)

Awardees will also be recognised as FOGSI–KCDM Digital Health Champions and featured on FOGSI-KCDM platform.
